What is this product?

FabiSpray - an experimental medicine, a nasal spray that helps clear Covid in the nose faster & prevents severe disease. Nitric oxide used in nasal spray prevents SARS-CoV-2 from spreading to the lungs and can stop the replication of the virus, finds a study by researchers affiliated with makers of FabiSpray.

How should one use this product?

Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and close the other nostril. Direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril, away from the cartilage dividing the two sides of your nose. As you spray, breathe gently and keep the head upright. Repeat the same process for the other nostrils.
Using Nitric Oxide Nasal Spray (NONS) six times a day for seven days can accelerate the removal of SARS-CoV-2 from your nasal cavity, preventing the transmission of the virus while also protecting high-risk patients from severe disease, according to data from clinical trials published Tuesday in the journal The Lancet Regional Health Southeast Asia.

How does this product act?

Nitric oxide acts as a physical and chemical barrier against the virus in the mucous lining of the nasal cavity, preventing it from incubating and spreading to the lungs, said a statement by Glenmark.
